What You Will Learn
- All the basics to get started in acrylics (materials, surface preparation)
- A simple approach to painting with easy steps to follow
- Colour theory (how to mix colours, mixing greys, using colour schemes)
- Master different painting techniques
- Learn all the fundamental elements to creating great art
- Learn all the fundamental principles to creating great art
- Tackle different subjects to broaden your experience
- Learn some key elements of drawing to help with your paintings (though we have templates so now skills needed)
- Study the masters and understand how they created great art
Weekly Live Structure
There will be 4 new lessons every month. Lessons vary and can be anywhere from 30min – 1.5hours which will be broken down as follows:
Week One: This will be a focus lesson on a single subject, for example a glass, how to paint clouds or a single flower.
Week Two: This lesson will be discussion based and we will explore different elements of art such as colour, composition, structure as well as painting tips.
Week Three: This will be a full length painting tutorial on a number of subjects including still-lifes, landscapes, portraits.
Week Four: A look at the masters and student work. Here we will look at different artists throughout the year and what makes their work so successful. I’ll also offer feedback on selected student work if requested.
(Please note that I will deliver 4 live lessons per month. They will take place every Wednesday at 10.30am GMT. These times may vary throughout the year if I am on holiday or for unexpected circumstances)

Can I cancel anytime?
On the monthly membership you are free to cancel anytime you wish.
What if I can’t make the live lessons on a Wednesday morning?
All replays of the lesson will be uploaded to the student portal by the following day for you to watch.
I’m not on Facebook, can I still watch the lessons?
You certainly can, whilst the live lessons are held inside a private Facebook group the recordings are available in a portal.
How many new lessons do I get each month?
On top of the many hours of lessons already available there will be four new additional lessons every month.
Can any ability level join?
Yes, lessons are suitable for all levels of students wanting to learn. From complete beginners to more advanced.
I use oil paint can I apply your lessons to this medium?
You most certainly can, the only difference will be that you will have to wait between layers.
Will I be notified before my renewal date?
Subscriptions are auto-renewed either monthly or annually, you will be notified a few days before your annual renewal.
Can I watch on any device?
Yes, you are free to watch lessons on any device you have.
