Meet Your Art Tutor

I’m Michelle Gibbs. I’ve been painting for 20+ years and teaching in-person painting classes both privately and in adult education for 10+ years I’ve been empowering my students to create paintings they are proud of whilst enjoying the process.

I’ve been where you are and I completely understand all the frustrations that come with learning to paint or trying to improve.

I create fun, flexible learning where you will begin to paint confidently with bold colours, live events, meet ups, engaging discussions, and pre-recorded tutorials.

I will give you all the tools and processes you need to make painting more enjoyable as well as help you to boost your confidence and creativity.

“Michelle is a very inspirational tutor. You are allowed to work at your own pace and she understands and recognises the importance of a person-centred approach. She embraces each person’s individual skills and needs, giving the appropriate feedback. I am beginning to develop confidence with my artwork and I really enjoy and look forward to the lessons.”  Jennie Brent

Community Matters

Our friends and family are wonderful, but they often aren’t creatives like us and may not fully understand our need to create. This can make our artistic journey feel lonely. I created this community to provide a supportive network where members can connect with others who understand their journey. I want this sense of belonging and support for you too.

Maybe it’s time to dedicate more time to your art, experiment, learn, have fun and push yourself.

One last thing....

Navigating the world of art can often feel like a solitary endeavour, especially when those around us don’t quite grasp the passion that drives our creativity. I’ve been there myself – the lone artist in the family. This experience inspired me to create a vibrant community where artists at all stages of their journey can come together.

This membership is more than just learning to paint; it’s about forging connections, building a supportive community, and embracing challenges that push our boundaries. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time, a hobbyist looking to delve deeper, or an aspiring artist aiming to share your work with the world, it’s a place for you. Our collective goal? To craft paintings that fill us with pride.

Drawing on over two decades of professional experience as an artist and a decade of teaching art, I’ve witnessed what it truly takes to flourish. This membership encapsulates all those learnings, offering live sessions, challenges, and personalised guidance to help you unlock your full potential.

I invite you to embark on this enriching journey with us. Dive into a world where art transcends the canvas, fostering growth, friendships, and a deep sense of belonging.
