Energy of the Sky

This painting is all about drama and colour. That big, sweeping sky full of pinks, purples, and blues, with clouds moving and shifting above a landscape that’s alive with energy.

The contrast excites me – those bold, warm colours in the foreground with reds, oranges, and touches of purple against the cool blues and deep shadows in the distance. It’s about capturing movement, the way the sky changes everything below it, the way light transforms a simple field into something extraordinary.

I’ve built up thick layers of paint to create texture and depth. Every brushstroke is visible, adding to that sense of energy and life. It’s the kind of sky that makes you stop and stare, that reminds you nature is always putting on a show if you take the time to look.
