Our Abstract World

I love working with colour and capturing it on canvas in a unique and abstract way. I enjoy building up glazes and layers of paint to give the work luminosity. My work is often inspired by my travels and I’m lucky enough to live close to the sea. This piece has been created using acrylic on canvas with lots of layering of paint.

I really enjoyed painting this work with its vivid and bright colours, it’s a really striking piece in the flesh. The artwork is finished with two coats of matt varnish for protection.
