Paint with Bold Colour,
Freedom and Feeling
An 8-milestone journey from flat and frustrated to expressive, energetic and authentically yours.
Your paintings feel flat.
Your colours lack life.
You're putting in the hours. You're following tutorials. But when you step back, the colours look muddy, the painting feels tight and lifeless — and the freedom you're looking for just isn't there yet.
- ✕Over-blending until the life drains out
- ✕Mixing dull, muddy colours you can't fix
- ✕Paintings that feel tight, stiff or overworked
- ✕Copying but never quite making it your own
- ✕Wanting to paint freely but not knowing how
- ✕Finishing and feeling quietly disappointed
- ✓Mixing bold, vibrant colours with real confidence
- ✓Painting loosely, freely and with genuine feeling
- ✓Work that has energy, depth and emotion
- ✓A style that feels unmistakably, beautifully yours
- ✓Excited to step to the easel every single time
- ✓Art you're proud to show — and keep
My mission is to help you become the bold, expressive, free artist you already are inside — one who paints with colour, energy and genuine feeling.
— Michelle Gibbs
When colour, freedom and feeling come together…
Something shifts. Your paintings stop feeling tight and start feeling alive. You stop copying and start creating. You stop second-guessing every brushstroke and start trusting your instincts. The boldness, the energy, the expressive quality you've always admired in other artists' work — that becomes yours too.
Hi, I'm Michelle.
With over 20 years of painting experience and more than a decade of teaching, I've helped hundreds of students all over the world find their creative voice — and fall back in love with painting.
I specialise in colour mastery and loose, expressive techniques that help you create work that's bold, vibrant, and authentically yours. But for me, this has never just been about teaching techniques.
It's about creating an experience that feels like a real in-person class — warm, personal, and genuinely supportive. I want you to feel excited to pick up a brush, confident in your choices, and proud of what you create.

Look what our students created
These are real paintings by real students — people just like you who found their colour confidence inside Vibrant Visions.
I had been painting for many years, but laid it aside because something was missing. Perfectionism was a HUGE block. I hit rock bottom and was on the verge of giving all my paint away… and at that very moment, when I 'let go', I decided to give it one last shot. Then in half an hour I applied every step I'd learned from Michelle and made something I was blown away by. I now KNOW how to start — how to plan composition, mix colours deliberately and confidently, know the phases to build up a solid painting. My style has developed and became richer, and with that my artistic confidence grew.
Artists who found their voice
Real words from real students who transformed their relationship with colour and painting.
I have learned so much from this programme. My understanding of colour, value and composition has completely transformed. I now approach every painting with a plan and a confidence I never had before. Michelle's teaching style is warm, encouraging and incredibly clear.
I'm so happy I found Michelle Gibbs' Vibrant Visions! Michelle has taught me how to use few colours, create foundations, the importance of values, how to add layers, use bold brush strokes and paint loose. Michelle provides quick and constructive feedback. I highly recommend Vibrant Visions!
Vibrant Visions covered a lot of information I had never been taught at other art groups. It has made me look at paintings in a different way. I feel I know where to start when challenged with constructing a new piece of work. It's so good that I will have the information for future reference. Michelle is very approachable.
Having recently retired I had always wanted to paint. I came into this course knowing very little. Michelle broke down painting into very learnable sections — tools, brush strokes, colour mixing, mindset and more. This course has truly ignited a passion for painting and learning more.
Only when you open the course portal will you be able to see the depth of material that Michelle has created for you. This course is worth much more than its asking price.
I joined Vibrant Visions as a complete beginner and I honestly couldn't believe how quickly things clicked. The way Michelle breaks down colour, composition and technique made it all feel so achievable. I'm now painting with a confidence I never thought I'd have.
