Learn to Paint with Michelle Gibbs
As well as being a full-time artist I also teach painting classes using acrylic which is a wonderful medium to use and extremely versatile. I have taught in adult education for 10+ years both privately and for the WEA.
I love nothing more than helping others to learn to paint and watching them progress. I am always happy to answer any questions you have, so please feel free to contact me.
Location
My studio is located in Horndean, Hampshire (near Portsmouth) and is at the end of my garden.
Studio Sessions
I offer small group sessions (Maximum of 7) from my studio. I run weekday and weekend classes.
During the sessions, you will learn everything from how to start a painting, colour mixing, brushwork, painting techniques, composition, creating depth in your work, gathering ideas and so much more!

Prices
Weekday workshops: 8 weeks £140 (plus £2 per session for materials, or you can bring your own)
Saturday/ weekend workshops: Prices vary depending on the theme and materials.
There will be a maximum of 6 in a group and you get a cuppa and a biscuit : )

I have opened up new dates which will start 4th September 2023. Please contact me to pay a deposit and secure your place. Whether you are an absolute beginner or have been painting a while I work with you individually.
Monday: 10am – 12pm (Full)
Thursday: 10am – 12pm (1 spaces left)
Wednesday: 6.30pm – 8.30pm (starting January 2024 – Max 10)
